Mitch has spent over 10 years immersed in the field of piano technology — acquiring a wealth of knowledge and skill along the way. He is a graduate of the Piano Technology Program at Western University, London, Ontario, and has since trained alongside many master piano technicians, including Anne Flemming-Read, Don Stephenson, and Michael Dragoman. As a pianist himself, Mitch understands the importance of a well-cared-for piano. A lifelong learner, Mitch is always working to hone his craft and skills as a piano tuner/technician and as a musician. He is a proud member of the Piano Technicians Guild and is currently working through the Royal Conservatory of Music Piano Syllabus levels and composing original music.

Reading other people’s google reviews regarding Mitch from Oxford Piano Services made me realize that I am just one of many who have had the good fortune of benefiting from his skills and expertise. He took a one hundred-and twenty-five-year-old upright Heintzman, rebuilt it at his shop and it now plays like a new piano. I was brought to tears when I first played it, the sound was so incredible. On January 16 it had its first tuning. Mitch spent far more time tuning than anyone else ever has and let me watch while explaining what he was doing. He is such a pleasant person to deal with and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing care for their piano. His finale was playing a mini concert of two Chopin Nocturnes – Such a delight.
